Best Beaches to hit

I was sitting here reading all the posts wondering where i should go out and prowl one of these nights Then it hit me. The best places to hunt are the ones that you never or hardly read about so wildwood nj here I come!! So just think of some places around your neck of the woods and see if there are any posts about them.If you think why don't i ever read about that lake or beach its because its a well kept secret! Think about it!!

I went to wildwood in July, the beaches are gigantic! All the sand from the beach replenishment projects further up ends up on the beaches of wildwood and cape may. A local there told me they get a few feet of beach a year!
I met two other detectorists while I was on the beach, they were running the surf in the wet sand, one of them had a few silver jewelry. I didnt find anything except clad but I am a new jack.

hunted wildwood many of times, alot of swimmer there, i myself liked AC, NJ better. but the gold is in wildwood also. going to daytona first of sept for aweek, be last trip this year, rest of year just work the state parks and lakes around here, rjnail
