Best find in pockets

I had a great aunt that passed away last year, my mom was put in charge of empting out her house. What a treasure hunt. Found several czeck coins, some silver a gold bulova watch. My best find was in the old clothes. It took all day but in the end I was $400 richer from all the cash in the suit pockets of her husband that had passed away several years ago.

My parents found $700 in a pair of pajamas that were still in the package. They were my uncle's. They were going to just send them to the Salvation Army but luckily they checked.

In 1965, my folks had an antique shop. WE purchased an estate from a nice old fellow who was 92 years old at the time. I was helping him pack up the stuff we bought & I saw the cornet of a bill poking out of a old book when we took it off the book shelf. It was a fifty. I helped him & my dad go through all the books from the shelf & we found about$4500.00. His wife had stashed money all over the place. He was a very happy old man. I think we had only given something like $450.00 for the whole estate. Wish I had those old bills today. They were at least 40 years old then. Spotz
