This morning really started out slow. Oh the day was perfect. Not hot yet but not cold. I had a big manatee come up beside me again this morning and I just said hello and he went on his way. I didn't freak out like I did the first time that happened to me. LOL I see this one quite often now but he is a BIG one! I hunted for almost an hour and a half and didn't get one hit. I was beginning to think my detector was on the blink again. I kept testing it near my scoop just to hear it sound off. Yep, it was fine. I just wasn't getting anything. Not even junk!
I have to say here that YES, it was a beautiful day and YES it is nice to get out in the fresh air and YES it's better than sitting behind a desk or doing whatever BUT I GET REALLY BORED when I don't get any hits at all! I was begging the heavens for SOMETHING - ANYTHING! Finally I started getting some hits. Well, I did ask for ANYTHING. I got bobby pins, and a pill container (well it rang off!), a big nail and assorted other junk.
I found a couple of "things" that I've found before and I thought they were off little toy cars or trucks but now I'm not so sure. But I don't know what else they could be. One of them kind of looks like a gear of some sort but it is so tiny!
The only jewelry I found was a "Best Friends" charm. It is just a cheap version but at least it was something. Well, I did ask for SOMETHING or ANYTHING. lol
Total clad for 4 hours (also a long hunt for me) $1.77. It's ok - I'll take it!
