Best Gilt flat button

Found on an Independence MO property dating to 1843. I understand Best Gilt buttons are estimated 1800-1830? Below the shank it looks like P*S*P. Does this help in dating the button further? Thanks for any info.

My guess would be closer to 1800, based on the shank and how thin the button is. Definitely a good find!
