Best GPAA claims to metal detect on in AZ?

Hi all,

I will be staying near Apache Junction, AZ in a couple months and was curious if knowlegable members here could direct me to the better GPAA claims in that area for detecting. I know most claims are over an hour away, but there are many directions to go and I would like to make the most of my trip. I plan to get a BLM permit for prospecting so any advice there would be welcome also.

Theres a prospecting,detecting store there in town cant recall the name but he was a real nice gentelmen,sure he can help ya out.

I think that is the store my Bro was telling me about. He lives there but he's not into prospecting (although goes with me on hunts).
The closest GPAA claims are about 60 miles from A.J. as the crow flies so I am hoping to minimize the carbon footprint on my wallet.
