His was the second time hinting a friends backyard. That used to be part of a farm. Haven't found anything notable in the past

First signal was a strong 89-90 on my etp

3" down pops a weird large copper

It turns out to be a 1912 British half penny!!!! What the heck is that doing here lol

Pulled a few pennies and continued on

Found 2 mercs within 3 ft of each other and then got a screaming 91. 5" down and out pops a 52 franklin half

Started getting dark and said let's dig one more signal

Found this locket style copper picture frame. That has Florida map on the front. The glass inside was broken. And the picture was rotted away

I am going to hit the heart with some electrolysis. What about the halfpenny. Should I use electro to clean it as well? Barely readable without a loupe in the condition it is now

Can't wait to go back there tomorrow night!!!!

Great finds, that is a dream hunt for me! HH!

Simply a beautiful coin... I want one... Thanks for sharing.

Cleaned up the British coin a bit

And turns out to be a 1918 penny. It cleaned up pretty good and don't think I want to clean it any further

Nice finds! Thanks for sharing...

Thanks guys

I got the king George cleaned up a little more. With some electrolysis. Also found out that 1918 had 3 different versions of mint marks

One of which is extremely rare. And worth a little bit of money. Unfortunately this is the most common of the 3. But that's ok. Because I will probably not find many British coins in this area

I found a 1863 British queen Victoria penny here in southern Nebraska along with a 5 Pense coin and a 5 yen..can not figure out how they got here.

I would love to see the picture frame cleaned up. Nice finds.

Ask and you shall receive

8 hours in my homemade electrolysis setup and then some metal polish
