No clad---that is what made it such a great hunt. Found in the backyard of a relative in a small town in Northern Maine.

have you tried to open the 'charm'- could be a number of the owners who's cat lost it---fifty years ago--

Prof, you were right on the money.

I opened it up and was amazed at what good condition the paper was in and I recognize the name. They were the original owners of the house and sold it sometime in the mid 60's. I'll post a pic later if anyone is interested, it is really cool.

ha!!! great!! one of my neighbors back in the mid '60s had a siamese with one, in case it ever got out. Then they have showed up on 'What is it'. cool- and they owned the house!!- oh, yeah- post a pic!!
