All things considered, this is my pick (and he is not even a rock and roller)

Elvis really did have an awsome voice, wish all the surrounding drama hadn't got in the way. I'd say elvis, just on that voice, it was one-of-a-kind, and I'm not a big Elvis fan.

Sinatra is not even a singer....

He is a crooner.... Even in the crooner class, Jim Morison beats him hands down.

Besides, Sinatra can't even come close to talent as the next 2 artists I present


As for pure male vocal I'll go with Bobby Hatfield....



Then again, we can't forget the man with the greatest and range of all time... Roy Orbison

Jim Morrison?? Heck Spart, this underated front man sang circles around Morrison! Check this out!

Again, Morison was a crooner... not a singer. There is a difference in the styles.. Jim didn't have the best vocals, but he was a good crooner. Gary was a singer and most others mentioned were singers.. I think Elvis would cross over from crooner/singer, but not a true singer either
