Went south this morning with my hunting buddy Earl. Got to where I thought we could dig but the ground was still frozen so we drove farther south. Finally we found a spot that was diggable so we got suited up and hit the field. Then the rain started! :censored: We only got an hour and a half hunt and then we called it quits. We were soaked and frozen to the bone. I ended up with 8 clad coins for .83 cents, one Wheatie and a 1951-S Washington! :occasion18: I guess it was worth the trip. Silver #8 for 2013! :headbang: Happy hunting to everyone! :occasion14:

nice finds congrats HH

good job fred.

Congrats on the Washington!

Did you go south of I-80? Good work pulling another SILVER.

Better than nothing??? You bet!!!

Don't take for granted that older stuff is more available there! Since moving to SoCal my oldest US silver coin is 1942. I might not ever see a barber, IH or seated ever again...

Hope you had a great time. Enjoy what you find.

HH!
