Went south this morning with my hunting buddy Earl. Got to where I thought we could dig but the ground was still frozen so we drove farther south. Finally we found a spot that was diggable so we got suited up and hit the field. Then the rain started!
We only got an hour and a half hunt and then we called it quits. We were soaked and frozen to the bone. I ended up with 8 clad coins for .83 cents, one Wheatie and a 1951-S Washington!
I guess it was worth the trip. Silver #8 for 2013!
Happy hunting to everyone!
