A friend of mine got this in his change at the gas station, and asked if it was gold and silver. I know they had a gold on silver Kennedy half for 1976, but I've never heard if this. I know they made bi-centenniel silvers at the Sacramento Mint, but thus has the Denver mark. What gives? Anybody else seen this before? 758_1499412524924.webp757_1499412512234.webp

There were a lot of these done for the bicentennial, quarters halves and dollars. Silver plated with gold or gold tone on the highlights. None were done at the mint, these were private company offerings.

l.cutler is spot on. I searched Google and found a similar "treatment" to another coin!

I am sure there would be a novelty value, not sure what it would be. You could try checking sold listings on ebay.

Not more valuable other than maybe 28C. They are gilded in gold and silver, you could get a 1.50 probably for them on eBay
