my wife just came in from college and brought in a bicenntenial quarter which is in great shape. lookslike someone let it slip out of their collection.
also, just wanted everyone to know about the new president dollar error.
it does not have in god we trust on the side of it or e pluribus unum also..
they are going for big bucks and all of the ones found are from the philly mint...

On last nights Fox News, the streamer said that the bad dollar coins came from the Philly AND the Denver mints. It also had a report that one had already sold on e-Bay for $600. That's a knee-jerk reaction, but it's a little early yet to tell how it'll all settle out.

Jeff of Pa quoted somebody saying that ebay was selling $40 to $60. His post was on General discussion. I also saw somewhere that 500,000 were minted. I bet who ever paid $600 for one wont admit it. Oh well. HH Sonny

Here is the $600 coin and buyer....

These coins had dropped to a selling price of about $50-$60 a few days ago, and now are back up to about $200 each.

Most (all?) have been found in Florida.

Interesting to see where the price end up a year from now. I guess somewhere around $5?

Wish I lived on the other coast...
