Fort Lauderdale News 1-8-1970

Silver, date and mint mark not discernible, guessed by local antiquities dealers to possibly date to around 1700. Badly worn by sand scour, no more found. Anglits fishing pier, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea in "all that stuff being pumped ashore by the dredges". Best my bad eyes can make out...

Very similar to the P of 8 I have from the Gilt Dragon 1656 wreck.

On making things larger so old eyes can see 'em...With Google Chrome: right click on the image- select "Open image in new tab" - switch to new tab- click on the three little dots on the RH end of the upper tool bar- click on zoom and blow it up to your heart's content!
