Local beaches have been dismal in the wet since I got back last Friday. One beach has near 10-20 feet of newly deposited fresh light sand even No big difference today. Usual dimes from dime beach with pennies tossed in. Since water is not doing any erosion opted to see where humans are eroding the sand. Looked for areas people walk to the water and where they have been pushing sand down while walking. So instead of water using the feet of fat tourists. Worked out well. Decent clad (60+ coins) some old that were in wet at one time. Then a wisper hit. Down 10" and that nice thud in the scoop. Got excited but then realized no gold. Instead a 16 gram tungsten. Still nice to find. This is wedding band #4 from this beach this year. Too bad only one of them platinum. Others stainless and plated and now this heavy one. It fits me and I dont know how a person wears this. The weight while walking is annoying. Add it to the pile of "could have been" items. Hopefully next one will be gold. And really hope some erosion begins and the winter hunting season isn't over here in socal.

Always nice to see a ring in the scoop!

Wow 16 grams? No way that thing was staying on a finger for long haha. Still....your hunting theory was rewarded and will pay off big eventually I suspect. Keep it up!
