Big Knife

Found this knife/blade on Thursday (2/12/09) during lunch. Was out there on the farm during lunch break for five minutes, pick it up, and went back to work. I was very excited since it is the largest piece I have found..5 1/4" X 2 1/2". It is a farm find so it has some damage. You can see the actual color the blade use to be by the chip on the backside...Rhyolite again. Any thoughts on what period Thanks in advance..Mud

I'd say Paleo because of the thickness of patina.
Not 100% though...Nice one!
