This was the only item of note, from a very wet and windy session this morning. A large spoon bowl, it shows traces of gold gilding. It's stamped with a fleur di lis in the bowl. Not to sure of the age but obviously old.

The shape makes me think its really old and the fleur de lis stamp makes it more intriguing

Hi Cru, nice spoon, think it's a different type though, the bowl of mine is a different shape, and it's bronze/copper.

French, maybe. Cru's link showed a fleur de lis as part of the marks used by that list of English makers. Although a fleur de lis usually pertains to the French it's not uniquely theirs in every case

No the type is still 'Latten' just lots of different variants.
