Finally got out again and hunted an older area of San Jose . This one school has a tiny park on the corner dating from the early 1900. The first hit I got was a +84 at 8-9 inches . I kept digging down and I saw BIG silver :hello2:. It looks like maybe part of a jewelry box ? Very ornate detail on it . Any ideas ? :thumbsup:

No idea what it is. But silver always looks nice when its dug out of the ground.:hello2:

Might be half of a clam shell purse. The other half may be near by...
