Big round silver gilt buckle

I went out metal detecting today didn't find much today a few piece's of lead a bend spoon and lanteran piece. I got a very high tone and dug down 8inches and pulled out this silver gilt buckle missing the backing part of the buckle. The front of the buckle looks like faint bust of a man face ? Any ideas or is plain gilt buckle only??
