I got to hunt a new property today. It started slow with a bunch of clad a couple wheats then I got a repeating 46 on the xterra so I had to dig it. This is my first half and I couldn't be happier!

Nice one.I don't think people dropped that many half dollars. think allot of the older coins in allot of cases were dropped as a result of a hole in the pocket.I have always wanted to find one!

Super find ! I've found two in ten years of detecting , not the easiest of coins to find - I agree with your assessment ,
as far as silver coins this design is hard to beat !! Congratulations .
(both of mine were found in Los Alamos , NM. )
