Got back out to the old saloon down in AZ that I have permission for. Found a bunch of silver in the dirt floor basement last time. The owner told me that there were a bunch of holes in the floor right where the bar used to be, but that the space underneath was a tight fit and just a crawlspace. I had to shorten up the old AT Pro and grab a flashlight. The crawlspace was all dry dirt that I don't think anyone has touched in over 100 years. I was up to the challenge, although I was sure I was going to get attacked by rats or snakes or spiders......luckily, it didn't happen. The space was tight, rubbing back and belly for most of the time I was in there. But SOOOOOO worth it! Found the coins shown below. Obviously the one that got me yelling was the 1889 Silver Dollar! Also found, what I think is a 1918 Half, a 1917 Merc, and assorted other change. What was really cool is that most of them were just laying on the surface waiting for someone to come get them. Actually saw the dollar with the flashlight before the "Carrot" picked it up. What a fun day!
