I found one similar not very far from a pocket watch back. It's marked new york but I can't read the rest. Initially thought it was a scale from a shoulder scales give how many military buttons came out of there between my friend and I. Over by the thimble.

Congratulations on the Barber Half they are no easy to find. I chatted with a guy who hunted 28 years never found one and the following week he digs one 😂. The coin was rough it had seen better days but I was was happy for him.
