well to start out i went hunting last week and found a coca cola watch fob in the shape of a swastika.when i scraped the dirt off and saw coca cola i got pretty excited about it (still am).then i found a little oval shaped whatzit that said armour simon pure leaf lard on a little kettle. on the back it has a baker running down the street.well it came out of the ground looking gold colored in great shape.wiped the dirt off looked almost new just a few light scratches on it.threw it in my bag and forgot about til i was trying to research the coca cola watch fob.decided to see what i could find out about it on the web.found out they made this product in the early 1900-1920's.went hunting last night with some of my buddies and showed it to them.they said wow thats heavy like gold hmm.so i went and had it checked this morning and it is real gold 13.4 grams worth.looks like its a better find than the fob.

Those are awesome finds! Never seen anything like either one of those.

awsome tokens :icon_thumright:

to me its still odd seeing things that are on a swastika that have no relation to Hitler , you just forget back then the relatioship of the two hadnt been made` an that the swastika wasnt a sign of something bad .

wtg on the finds :icon_thumleft:

Wow talk about a couple of unique finds. There was a thread on here a few weeks ago about pure leaf lard but it sure wasn't gold. Congrats

Those are some cool findings!

What sweet finds :icon_thumleft: That gold piece looks like Chef Boyardee :headbang: :laughing9:

Nice interesting finds Woody......
Congrats on the gold and the swastika.
Gold Nuggets :hello:

I see the swastika shape on almost a weekly basis. It is used to mean, "good luck," and used especially by the Bhuddist people
here in S. Korea, and I suppose in other lands, as well.
I wonder what Hitler and his bunch were trying to mean, by turning it around backwards? :icon_scratch: Be something someone might find interesting researching.
Great hunt, great finds......hope you can find more there.

Those are some intesting finds. Really like the coke one....Matt
