Biggest Score Ever! 96 silver halfs! 1938D!
Good morning everyone, I had some time to hunt for some CWR rolls. It's been a while since I had a score this spectacular and it came from an unexpected source. A bank 20 min away has told me before that they had no silver halves and not to bother. I was already there to check another bank and figured that they might have something. I picked up $200 and saw a wrapper that said "old". It was full of walkers. Altogether, 5 out of 20 rolls will solid (except for 4 1971's). Dates break down to
1917x2, 1918, 1918d, 1918s, 1919, 1927s, 1934x2, 1934d, 1937, 1938, 1938d, 1939, 1939d, 1941x2, 1941dx2, 1941s, 1942x3, 1942d,1943x2, 1944, 1944dx4, 1945x2, 1945dx2, 1946, 1950d, 1952d, 1963dx2, 1964x10, 1964dx5, 1965x4, 1966x5, 1967x23, 1968x7, 1969x2
I got a few spare 40's and 90's from my other pickups, so it adds up to over a 100 silver day!
