✅ SOLVED BIKE BADGE OR EQUIPMENT PLATE? NEED SOME HELP WITH THIS ONE

This is a thick copper piece with a lot of work on the front and a fancy letter L ? that appears to have a symbol built into it. It is slightly curved like a bike badge (but I haven't seen any with 4 mtg holes) or maybe off an old fire extinguisher or some other type of equipment? I am hoping someone recognizes the L symbol.

I believe it's a personalized monogram for a radiator cap / motometer.
