Birthday Hunt results in multi-silver day

Made it out for my birthday and continued to slowly grid the area I've been working for the last few weeks. I considered the location hunted out last year, I but since slowing down and walking back and forth and overlapping swings from each pass, I've managed a deep sterling ring, 1930 Lane Tech pin, 1926 SLQ, and now two mercs. The second merc was in the path of the previous pass and I would have missed it if I were not overlapping swings. I guess getting the coil over it from a different direction was key. Still got another few weeks of work to do there but hopefully some goodies still remain buried to find!
