I am looking for any help about detecting in and around Bitche. I will becoming there on 5 May and leaving on 9 May 2010. I will be with about 100 WW11 soldiers who helped liberate Bitche. I have no idea what the laws pertaining to metal detecting or what to expect about the area. Any and all info would be appreciated.
