Got out to a state park yesterday with permit in hand to do a little detecting and rock hounding. Started out wading in knee deep water looking for artifacts since it wasn't 7am yet. Had no luck there so I went back to a picnic grove next to the shore to detect.
Found a couple dimes and six pre-'82 pennies, one being a '62 so no zincolns today.
Also found this cool toy copter buried next to the tree line and the mini ornament in the water.
Nothing spectacular but it was nice to get out in the early morning before the heat.

When I was a kid they had this TV show "Land of the Giants". The mini Copter gave me flashbacks...

Looks just like the one Sly Stallone flew in Rambo II. Pawn stars hollywood memorabilia perhaps? :tongue3:
