I dug this (?) Belt plate about a year ago, but have yet to find another example with no designs or markings. I was just curious if anyone else might recognize it?

I dug one just like it many years ago, I was told it was from a military school, and was post war.

Thanks for the tip, with your help I believe I have it tracked down to the Virginia Military Institute (WWII era).

*Waiting on confirmation from the VMI museum.

Might clean up the tongue and see if it's marked N.S.Meyer
