You'll find those things all over gold country and bits of them all over the place if you nugget hunting~ frustrating because they are non-magnetic and can be as numerous as bullets in some locations.

But, are they dangerous? I've never seen one. I'd hate to find one and have it go off when I pick it up or bump it with my coil.

Any type of UXO is dangerous. If you don't know if it's live or not, don't chance it. We watched all kinds of videos on them at Combat Engineer School. Nasty stuff
