Good story.

Reminds me of a bunch of seagulls chasing after a french fry.

Great story, and it should give us all a few more ideas, on where to hunt.

Great read thanks for sharing.

I'm assuming Kalamazoo MI?
All my older relatives came from there, grandparents and earlier, nice to think that they may have swam there.
We had a fantastic dig out here in Denver, at Berkeley Lake, crazy amount of stuff dug.
And even though the Park finally leveled all our trenches, people are still finding the occasional gold ring or coin.

Theres alot of small towns that had lakes in the old days i hunt 1 myself but not the lake bed itself someone buildt a house on top of it ....ive gotten 14 silver out of it so far but nothing like the guy in this story but then again im sure im not hunting the best locations since theres a house on the old swim area
