Blood Hound by Garrett

Hi All

I recently purchased a blood hound, and I wanted to know if the tone gets louder the closer you get to something. I'm searching at a friends house for a lost cache that was buried in the 1920's. Rumor has it that its buried some where on the property. Any suggestions or hints would be appreciated.

I just used the Treasure Hound for a week on an old farm in South Carolina. Hooked to the Master Hunter detector. The tone gets louder & the meter goes up when the *front* coil is over the object. Pretty good centering plus or minus say four inches. The smallest target it could detect was an ordinary beer can. No falsing at all, where it said metal was, there it was. Good lick & happy hunting.

Hey Roxy, I too have a Garret Bloodhound. What state and or city are you located in? Willing to help if the distance is not to far.
