Blowout on the beach. Frozen toes and large cents galore!

So after I finally dragged myself out of bed this morning I realized that although it was bitter cold, and the wind made that even better, the tide was out further than it has been in a long long time. After a delicious breakfast by somdrelichunter, and a toilet lid screw to fix my aces coil we met up with our friend and made our way to a ferry crossing. As we hit the beach right away our friend found a Spanish 1 real. Somdrelichunter around the same time found a half cent. As we made our way down the beach we hit pay dirt in a small area that yielded 10 large cents! All in all I managed 4 large cents, an awesome hard times token from Lowell mass ( how it ended up in md, and in the same hole as the 45 LC, I have no idea) 2 flat buttons, 2 fatty IH pennies, and a colonial copper. Definitely the best day I've ever had...frozen toes and all

That was well worth the frost bite! Congrats! As for the Lowell token, we do escape from Mass once in awhile, before they track us down and haul us back! Lol!

I think it's a great idea that the dirt diggers let the beach hunters dominate & take control of the Today's Finds forum .

Can't wait, less colonial & Early US home site finds , more fishing weights and rings . After all it's o k , can't hurt and NO cornfield dug lc's on beach forum .
