anyone know if the blue bowl gold recovery systems any good or if its better or worse than the desert cammel

Hey Josh....I bought a blue bowl ( Dam Bowl ) over twenty years ago. It works great. Alway's screen the material so the heavy stuff don't kick the smaller gold out. My flow adjuster is 5 feet from the bowl so I don't get any air bubbles in the bowl.....Art

Can't compare apples to oranges.My dam bowl has been cooking since 82 or so and I LIKE IT for 50 mesh and minus.I use green bowl for the 50-25 and then any wheel or pan will do.Classification is the secret to all concentrators.With the wheels ya gotta classify,then run all the black sand with the gold.Then tilt more and fine tune to get the gold.You have then classified 2 way-size and specific gravity and will have better recovery.Ifn' it ain't got a hole thru the middle,it ain't worth a diddle is my choice!!Tons a au 2 u 2-John
