Yes, these 2 countries have an unbelievably long and rich history. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to detect in both places.

Sounds good, Doc. My hunting buddy in Panama grew up in Ecuardor and it is his dream to search and find the lost treasure of Llanganates. But I read that they might be close to finding it:

There are many legends here…….much history and much in the way of gold mines and gold bearing rivers…….
With the history of this country, I would guess that there exist many unclaimed small fmaily treasures lost to history and waiting……
Hope ot get out exploring very soon after I purchase some transportation soon……

I have family in Bucaramanga, Colombia. I'd made research in Colombia where I can detect and find old Spanish coins and the best place is Cartagena. In that city, there is a small island with two Spanish fort. One of those forts abound a small beach where anybody can go a start to detect.
