In 1967 I went on a U of O geology fieldtrip to the Bohemia Mining District...….kinda took a date with me: Illeona Rapacheck from Brazil. I even found some gold in quartz on other such excursions and hunting trips up in the Bohemia Mtn area. I am glad to see the area maintained and mined. A lot of good mining history comes from the Bohemia District.
