Bolo?

This item was very rusted before I dropped it in my secret concoction. After the rust was gone I dried it and clear coated it to avoid further oxidization. I believe it to be a bolo of some type. Anyone?

Concho..... Probably off of a leather "biker" jacket. Here's a similar one....

That is called a concho. used for decorations on a lot of saddles, holsters and belts. the one you have was probably plated.
