I found this bottle on the shore of the Mississippi River here in New Orleans. I can't find exactly what kind of bottle it is or what era it's from. Any help would be appreciated. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1480613981.766822.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1480614000.133571.webp

The bottom says 995 inside the diamond shape and has a 4 under it.

Diamond Ink Co? Ink bottle?

DIAMOND INK COMPANY

Although, a diamond with a number in it is the hallmark of the Illinois Bottle Co.

"Diamond I" or "I inside a Diamond" mark on glass bottles

There are also many bottles known with a number or number/letter combination within a diamond. These are also products of Illinois Glass Company, and some of the these numbers have been matched up with bottle style listings in early trade catalogs published by Illinois.

Thanks I'll do some research on both.

I'd guess a condiment bottle as well, I'm pretty sure I have a similar one somewhere that I found under a house in the 9th ward.

Any idea on the age? Seems kind of old.
