Anyone ever find or heard of United States Root Beer Company Extract?? From Pittsburg Pa. I have a bottle from a privy dig that is about 4" tall. Just can't seem to locate any info on it. Thanks for the help. I will try to post a pic of it later if that will help. Privy digging is tough work, I'm tuckered out.. Thanks again. jgas

ROOT BEER EXTRACTS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY

The next brand tried to make one believe that it had universal market coverage. UNITED STATES ROOT BEER EXTRACT is on the first side. Any guesses as to where it's from? Here is what the other three sides say, MAKES FIVE GALLONS OF A DELICIOUS DRINK / MANUFACTURED ONLY BY UNITED STATES ROOT BEER CO / PITTSBURG PA. U.S.A. We did not inadvertently, leave the "H" off of Pittsburgh, that is how it was spelled for a time many years ago.

Very nice bottle jgas and great info on same River Rat :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Hey thanks for the insight on the bottle. Good stuff. Kinda strange how they spelled Pittsburg, without the H..I suppose that would date it somewhat. I got another post coming at another site I have. tell me what ya think about this possibility. Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it. jgas
