This field has no Sites & has no name. It's not crossed off the list as it has a loose scatter of finds, but it takes a large area grid to get them. However, it's now come up as available because the beans were late being drilled due to the wet weather.
We did 5.5 hours & got more than we expected:

20 Scrappies (a lot for this field which was always a field in Roman times)
Railway Button
17th C Button
Broken Jetton
Rose Farthing
Blank Lead Token
Small tip of a Bronze Age Axe
Buckle bits & 1 medieval
Lizzy Hammered Penny
Scottish Cut Half, probably William, the Lion
.

Well done, even at a lesser site...

Hi Cru'
Haven't checked Tnet in a while but the hammered coins are a nice catch...love the railway button...very nostalgic... along with the bronze age bit...a nice addition to your collection...very cool!

Your hauls never cease to amaze me. [emoji106]

Must been something special with that field. So many coins and no site, bronze age and medieval. Must been old stomping ground.

Its just really close to the Roman/Iron Age settlement (Town) & was farming fields in the Roman period.
