Bought my Step-Mother's Coin Jar
For $200 in crisp brand new FRNs I got:
$20.00+/- Cu Cents
$20.00+/- zinc cents
$8.50 +/- wheats
$12.50 Jefferson nickels (including two war nickels, seventeen buffs and a V!)
$82.00 Roosevelt Dimes (12.60 face of silver)
$52.25 Washington Qtrs (11.75 face of silver)
$25.00 Ken. Halves (22.50 face 90% 1.00 face 40%)
$14.00 SBA's
$6.00 Ikes
My birthday was a few days ago and I've always coveted this jar of change, so the exchange was sort of a birthday gift, and one of the best i've received. The step-mom also has another box of silver her mother had culled from circulation in the late sixties, i'm planning on buying that as well.
