Bought some land, and little did I know...

Hey yall! So, I bought me a little patch of land that seemed to be a little gold mine, so to speak. While walking down the road I looked down and noticed a large amount of “chips” so I decided to look further. I’m an area about 10 feet by 15 feet I found all of these, (there were many many more but I haven’t taken pictures yet). There is a plethora of arrowheads, chips, knives, etc. these were some of my finds from today. Anyone know what specifically these are? Thank y’all and have a blessed night!!

Looks like you bought a great piece of land that is going to give you hours of enjoyment. Those calipers make me nervous against those needle tips though when a simple ruler will do the trick with less risk. Thanks for sharing your newfound bounty!

That is a lot of points from a small area. Your property may be on what use to be a camp. If you post them in the North American Indian Artifacts forum also, I know the members there will be able to help you identify them. Congrats on a lot of great looking points.

Congrats on the finds! Native American tribes often had a location possibly with a cover where they generally knapped arrowheads, spearheads and other points within their' encampment and you likely stumbled across one of these. I can't remember the name of these locations but there was once one across the river from my' Brother-in-Law's nephew's home in Sevier County, Tennessee and there were many partially made, fully made and damaged points along with lots of Flint shards there. We used to find dozens of points in the fields after a plowing and and a decent rain but they converted the fields to hay fields and some were sold for homes.

Nice ones! Are you in Choctaw or Chickasaw land area? I found quite a few Chickasaw relics in Marshall county.
