Stopped in my neighborhood pawnshop today to see what I could find and walked out with this Bounty Hunter Jr for $15.

My daughter is 4 years old and likes treasure hunting, every time we go to the playground she pokes around the gravel with a stick because we found some change there before so I think this will be perfect for her as a first detector. I'm going to go salt the yard with some coins and other treasures for her to find on Christmas and probably have as much fun watching her find them as she does

Sounds like you may have a new detecting partner in the making there Ken.

Wouldn't that be cool if you guys could be detecting together 20 years from now... all my 17 year old daughter wants is a new iPhone for Christmas.

That’s the same machine I bought for my son 10 years ago. I used it a lot more than him though(;
It was good to us, we found most of the clad in the back yard, he’s now 16 and is toooooo cool to hang out with dad unless we’re going to hunt in Virginia
