Bounty Hunter seclusion 3D ?

I have a Bounty Hunter 3D sold by Cabela's can anyone tell if the coil is water proof? I found it at a yard sale for $5.00 and it seam to work ok just want to if I can use it just under the surface at the beach,

I have a bounty hunter quick draw 2 and you can put the coil under. So I'd say yes but you can check the web site

$5? You got a steal. All Bounty Hunters have waterproof coils. You will more than likely have a tough time at a saltwater beach, more than likely. Lots of false signals.
