Bowling token and Greek or Roman medallion!

I just got back from that ally in Victor Colorado. It's such a nice day, tomorrow they call snow. I was happy to find a couple more keepers. I hope you all find lots before it freezes. Let me know if you have any information on the medallion. I'm guessing it dates to around 1880 ish. I did a quick search on token catalog. The token is from Goldfied Nevada. I usually sell the ones that are not local. I hope it's a good one!!! Here is a picture of the trash from the last 2 days.

Thanks Don, I opened the attachment and saw beautiful old mining town pictures. I witnessed them tearing down the Christian Science Building. I couldn't find the information on the token, but I sure liked the pictures!

Hi Don, I just read the caption for the Christian Science building. I am surprised the Bunte Bros token shows up on token catalog as a Nevada token. It should be attributed to Victor. Thank you for your information!!!

Thanks again Trezurhunter! You were right about more finds down there! I am going to sell a few of these tokens and get the 6" coil for that spot and a few others. Hopefully the snow will melt and wet the ground. There is definitely more down there!!!

Thanks Carl. What a great past month. I feel like a kid getting ready for an Easter egg hunt when I go out. I sure am glad Don linked that token to Victor! I really like collecting the tokens from here!!! It's 14 degrees and snowing!!!

Thanks Tommy, I love the tokens also! I would rather have the cold than the heat, but as always, I would rather be detecting!!
