Found this with CW relics... the hole in the cylinder-shaped part is about 5/16" diameter. It is brass. Any ideas?

Looks like a hood hinge for an old car/tractor with a folding hood.

Looks like a gudgeon for a hinge (how's that for your Scrabble word of the day?). Pintel is the other half (with the pin) to make a hinge.

Or not.

Could also be a curtain rod holder or some such.

Bucket handle holder thingie...one on each side of the bucket.

+1 I think it is the interior sun visor base for an older car.

I think the only other things I found there were 3 ring minnie balls, a J-hook and a confederate fuse adapter.
