Brass disk from 1750s military site

Hi... Here's a puzzler. It's a brass disk with serrated edges (seem to be hand-cut, on one side only). It came from a French & Indian War military site, though it certainly could be later and/or civilian. Any guesses?

Just a guess but with that bevel on the inner hole I would guess some sort of saw blade. But, with your dates and it being brass, I'm sure I'm wrong.

So I counted the teeth, best I could, and came up with 100, for what it's worth. Maybe one of these or a part to an old Adding Machine, maybe the Adall Calculator?

Thanks for the ideas! Some interesting ones for sure. I would have assumed it was for cutting something or working leather, but would think that'd be better done with a harder metal. It could be a gear of some sort. The adding machine idea is intriguing (thanks for counting the teeth, Tedyoh!) though it looks a little primitive for that and has no numbers on it.
