Brass Maison Jansen coffee table?

Not sure if any furniture experts out there? Found this at a bank that was being remodeled and bought it for $10 some months back. I think it was actually destined for the dumpster, thought it looked interesting, and thought my wife might like it... At first she didn't like it and was going to put it on Craigslist for $50. I started looking online for what brass coffee tables where going for and found similar in style tables by Maison Jansen that are in the $1,000-$5,000 range. I found a serial number on one of the insides of the finials that reads E8772-1. Maison Jansen firm decorated some of the White House rooms for the Kennedy's. Anyway thanks for any thoughts.

It may also be an Ethan Allen table stylized as a Maison Jansen table as described here:
Maison Jansen Era Round Brass Coffee Table Hollywood Regency Mid Century Modern | eBay
Note the one on eBay is stamped "Ethan Allan" and includes a numerical code; similar characteristics of your "E8772-1"
