This brass bar came from a Union camp in west central Mississippi. It is 3 inches long and as you can see if has 4 "teeth" spaced down one side of the bar. I'm included 2 pictures. One of these pictures shows as brass "tack" looking projection where maybe it was driven into wood or leather?? Any help or quess? Thanks.
