🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Brass or Copper Mystery Item

A friend of mine found this brass or copper piece on a farm in the Niagara Region of Ontario on Sunday. The item has three holes cast in it, but we have no idea what it's from. The other side is made like it's possibly a lid of some sort.
