I was going through some old finds and re-found this... I know I've seen one of these on here, but I cant seem to find it. Since I have no clue what to even search on or what it was used for, I figured I'd ask.
Have a feeling you guys will know what this is right away!

Well I could be way off, but it looks like a mount for a roll-up window blind.

I can totally see that! I have another what-is-it thread going here http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/what/436403-easy-one-pat-oct-27-1885-brass.html and I got a similar comment.

Now I can see where both these items could be roll up window blind mounting parts. For some reason, I thought I saw a similar item above in other peoples pictures from relic hunts.
