Found this along an old mining road in Nevada, road was used primarily between 1850 and the 1920's until it was bypassed, cleaned up brass a bit with wire brush. The holes aren't spread evenly which to me looks hand made as opposed to machine made, other than that I haven't the slightest idea of what this is, any suggestions? Thanks
